Evga GTX1080FTW Black Screen...

Hi, during my gaming session of Ark survival evolved the screen went black but my PC stayed running. The monitor went into power saving mode as there was no signal being sent to it with the black screen.

Pushing the reset button on the PC just briefly powered down then back on but with one long beep and 2 shorts beeps and the monitor remained off. I held the main power button to shut down the PC and then restarted it and it was now working fine again.

During the gaming session the GPU was at 100% usage all the time for about 4hrs straight. The GPU temp never went over 60c. V Sync was off.

I noticed that the temp for the GPU was being outputted at 0c when the screen was black as I can monitor this on my mobile using the aquasuite software.

This has happened 4 times now.

I had exactly the same issues with my GTX 1080Ti. I reverted back to 382.33 drivers and not had an issue since.

Reading around, I'm seeing lots of complaints for drivers after this version. More so .74.

My FTW did the same black screening etc I put it down to VRM's overheating as it was one of the earlier revisions once I put an Afterburner profile on it the problem stopped (fans got a bit noisy but it was better than the card burning out)
