Brrrap brrrap straight up Gangsta. No doubt it gets red lined everywhere so people think it's fast and the drivers seat was on full recline aswell. Seeing more and more Barry boy 1 series lately now they have dropped below 4K into council estate territory.
Is it just me or has the original 1 series in general aged terribly for a 10yr old car?

That's true but sadly most people still fall over themselves to own one.
I remember when a woman I worked with bought a 1 year old white poverty spec 116d and the reaction from all the other women was pure jealousy to the point you would have thought it was a Ferrari or a Porsche they were slobbering over not a 120bhp 4 pot diesel with cloth seats and casters for wheels.
It's a sad world we live in we're the badge means everything no matter what turd it's stuck on

My brother in law recently got a company car and the way the inlaws were talking a though oh it will be a nicely specced 3 or 4 series. Nope 116d, pretty much the cheapest of the cheap but if thats what people want its their choice.

Tbf I'd rather drive a leased car than a 2k banher leasing base spec "premium" badge cars and pretending that they're the poo is pretty funny. It's easy to impress people who have no idea tho.

I really like the Dinos but the recent appreciation means they're probably less "enjoyed" than even just a few years ago. Amazing to see one just parked up like that.
