Afternoon all. Sorry if I'm not allowed to post it here, will remove if needed.

Back in April my mum, a nurse of 30+ years, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then her Mobility has deteriorated. After a lifetime of giving to others I'm hoping we can give something back to her.

We want to raise £1500 to buy a cheap Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) so that we can take mum out and about to do shopping, visit friends, go to the beach, do all the things me and you do without a care in the world. But being housebound is a horrible position to be in. With your help, we can Change that.

Any donations are massively appreciated and when goals are reached of £500 and £1000 I'll share videos of a sponsored head shave and a back waxing.

Thanks in advance, and if you'd like to donate, please click the link below.

If she needs a wheelchair why not apply for PIP and you could get a brand new vehicle with tax and insurance.

Good luck with whatever happens.

Oh ok sorry. I just weren't sure you were aware of it. Some people still aren't.
No worries at all mate. Should have made it clear in my Justgiving page to be honest but can't change it now - They are good but they cost around £250-300pm - I do advise anyone in this position that can afford it gets one, super deal FWIW.

For £1500 you can get a Handicare Puma 40 6mph chair off the bay, which are very good.
Which ever one you buy just make sure you have a years warranty on the motors.

And if she can't walk the doctor\council\government will give her one after a simple test.

this is for a mobility car matey, so we can get her to the shops, visit friends and family etc. A mobility scooter isnt ideal to be honest. But thanks nonetheless.
