Hey guys,

I had my computer on sleep for a day or so, and hasn't been restarted/shut down since about a week ago..

Anyway, awoke it up earlier today, I have left it for a couple of hours just idling on the desktop and I have come back to find it has restarted? WTF?

I have never had an issue/blue screen etc or anything and so far this system has been pretty solid..is it possible that windows 10 update could restarted it? I heard no noise or anything from the system (I have been in the same room close to the system watching TV).

Any help appreciated guys!

According to Update History there was "accumulative updates" and "flash player updates" on the 13/07/2017.

My only query is that I have selected the restart from updates option ticked off? :(

So guys..

Is there anything else I can try? Or leave as is? I will be doing a fresh software install when RX VEGA is out next month, and not playing much on the PC until then..so if its software isn't the end of the world tbh..for a couple of weeks..

And for what its worth, surely if it was hardware would be inconstant? since then there has been no reboots or suspect acting up on the PC.

The same happened to me on the 12th. I checked windows updates and those same updates had come in. Reliability History/Event Viewer showed nothing untoward. Not sure about the restart from updates on/off option, could be bugged.

Thanks for the reply Danny! Yeah, same, when I checked the event viewer there was no "restart unexpectedly" on any such thing..
