Aside from thinking he's the funniest man alive today, I also believe him to be one of the best. If Aliens landed tomorrow and demanded a representative for the world, I would choose him. Insanely grounded and infinitely genuine in spirit and persona.

David Blaine

Been obsessed with him since I was a young teenager. His 'Street Magic' performances had a profound effect on me back then. I love all popular modern illusionists, but NO ONE sells the idea of 'magic' to you like Blaine.

Peter Cooke

Again, a HUGELY influential figure in my youth. My uncle covertly sat me down to watch 'Derek and Clive Get The Horn' when I was about 13 and I've been a fan ever since. Unclean, disgusting and endlessly entertaining.

Alan Turing

One of my favourite historical figures. His work says more for the beauty of his character then I or anyone else ever could. A beautiful human being. One of the best of us, that's for damn sure.

assuming this is a slightly realistic dinner party rather than some kind of fantasy foursome with (insert 4 attractive celebrities here)

then i'd probably go for patrick stewart, stephen fry, brian blessed and christopher lee

just because i think it'd make for some really interesting conversation, anecdotes and laughs.
