I would think it's worth selling him this year just to stop him going to a rival if you can.
If you watched us play today you would realise we are completely screwed without him. Our squad looks weaker and weaker each year.I would think it's worth selling him this year just to stop him going to a rival if you can.
It's pre-season for crying out loud. Players come and go all the time and clubs don't fall apart. Of course you're better with him but you've lost better players and replaced them.If you watched us play today you would realise we are completely screwed without him. On the general point of whether to sell him and if so, for how much. There's no right answer - lose him now and be worse off in the short term or let him go next summer, get nothing for him and have no control of where he goes. The one thing you don't do (unless they offer stupid money) is sell him to City - either keep him or sell him to PSG/Bayern.
The bigger issue here isn't Sanchez but how Arsenal keep finding themselves in a position where their best players are running down their contracts and leaving Arsenal in a no win situation. This should have been resolved 12 months ago and if there was no sign of him committing to a new deal then he should have been sold there and then or at the very least began the process of identifying and signing his replacement so they weren't left shafted now.
Absolutely bonkers the prices these average players are going for now.Mad, isn't it? What happened to the days of full backs being cheap?
length of existing contract - wasn't Lukaku 's a year longer? How can they rate Sanchez at 35m but lukaku at 75m?
So City have spent like, what, £130m on full backs now?!
James peace has now said same thing structure deal worth 83m.Yea...never heard of them to be honest and i wont believe a thing until Pearce or Joyce say something. Would be good to get this one over the line though.
Interesting, Jose has come out and stated that DDG is not leaving this season 100%. Great news to get it confirmed.
Lukaku is not even close to his prime. Very rarely will a player hit his prime at 24.

Regarding Sanchez, the irony is it's probably BECAUSE of him we finished out side of the champions League spots.
Yes yes.... I can hear you saying WHAT??! But.... it was the teams poor form in the two legs against Bayern that made Sanchez throw the toys out the pram. This then had a massive knock on effect on the team and we went on a losing run that cost us that 1 point and a Champions League spot.
Personally as much as I want to keep him, having a toxic player in the camp it's better to get rid of them than have that negativity around the club and the other players.
Sell him to PSG hopefully for a good price just make sure to spend the money on a good player to replace him.
According to winner sports(who?) on twitter they have accepted our last bid for Keita 83m euros so roughly 74m in our currency
