Yeah, but the truth doesn't sound anywhere near as exciting does it.
And writing on the box, "4gb of ram split into 3.5gb of really fast ram and 0.5gb of still pretty fast ram" isn't very catchy
Still think they should have been more open with it, which is why it's a good example now to AMD: leading people to believe or expect something which you know to not totally be correct is a dubious practice.

Well at least this time they are benching against TI. Seems in Amd favored games Vega is on par with TI ??? Maybe ????

Edit : Nevermind seems Amd asked Kyle to bench it against Non Ti model and it was Kyles decision to compare it against TI lol

Not a fan of that design, that's actually the same design of heatinsk that was in the background in different systems during the whole fury x launch video, was supposed to be the reference 390 card but then the same design moved onto be the basic polaris reference design. Done the rounds to say the least. At least its pictured anyway.
