Is it possible to rewire front panel usb?

With my gaming PC being dead and me being reduced to using an antique I'm of two minds whether or not to split what works and sell up as I doubt I'll have the cash to replace components for a good while.

If I was to sell or eventually reuse my case I'm wondering if its possible, and if so, How I'd go about rewiring the front panel usb ports which became damaged?

I have a Lian Li PC-Z70 Diamond Series Full Tower Case

Most cases these days the usb ports are built into a hub and you'd require a replacement one of those to get you back up and running.

Doh! I've already asked Lian Li about a replacement front panel but as its discontinued stock they can't help...

Seems a shame to waste such an expensive case, its pretty much solid aluminium as I recall

Depends on th damage. If it's just a usb connector broken it may be possible to fit another.

Just a thought ~ there are plenty of USB extension bases around. You could just run that to your desk and use that instead of the one built in to the case.
