Is it worth me getting a vegaor 1080?

ok so I hear vega 64 is around 1080 level.

I do use freesync monitors, is that enough reason to get a vega over a 1080?

Also a 1080 uses about 100w less, would I actually see a difference in the bills for running the computer?
 
2 more weeks and we will have reviews and answers for questions, if you can wait you can make an informed decision then :-)
 
Will probably come in a tiny bit under Nvidia pricing. But it's not going to be on the savings that Ryzen is to intel.
Alas I feel a bit bad for AMD because I can guarantee their profit margin is lower than Nvidia. That HBM2 isn't cheap!

AMD are following the launch pattern that nVidia use by releasing a "Founders Edition" type of card. You'd be well worth waiting for the AIB partners to start releasing theirs; eg ASUS Strix, Gigabyte Gaming G1 and MSI Gaming X.

They always have better coolers and are more competitively priced.
