Buying a GTX 1080 today

not tempted for extra £50 to go for a basic 1080 Ti ?

I've seen the card i mentioned on a place dunno if I can mention but the big site from a global store for £550 including import fees but not sure if there's additional fees , also seen a gigabyte one for £490 preorder

If its says its covered by import tax and is sold by the actual site and not a reseller, should be good .

normally you just have the import tax - would remove the "learn more" link

be warned! RMA by ASUS and the rest/other vendros will not be covered by UK team! or EU team - threads can be found around here and on the web .
It goes wrong, not sure the Reseller UK RMA will handle it, no idea but might have to send back to US reseller or Asus

I'd buy the gainward on sale for £450.
You'll never see a difference in performance in any of the 1080's.

I got the liquid cooled 1080 msi on sale for £489.99
 
Sadly there were two of those Gainward cards in stock and went out of stock before I could order it.
There was swearing. :mad:
