Brand New OcUK System problems

So I received my PC yesterday, and right off the bat had problems... Started fine and all the hardware was working fine inside so it seemed but my monitor was not picking up any signal through the DVI input. Tried with HDMI, seemed to work for a bit. Eventually got it working fine but it seemed a bit pot luck whether it actually picked the monitor up.. my monitor is brand new to. A zowie XL2411. Initially thought this could be the fault.

Once up and running eventually, played it for a solid 7-8 hours straight for the rest of the day with no problems whatsoever... However woke up today, go to boot it up. Boots fine but again, problem with the monitor picking up a signal. Eventually decides to pick it up on the DVI after a few restarts. But now I have a totally different problem. Windows 10 is not working. It boots and gets to desktop but I now have nothing on the desktop like icons etc. No icons on the taskbar like internet status.. Taskbar is there and can open the start menu but as soon as I try to start an application... Nothing. Nothing comes up. Even when I right click and try go to display settings, nothing comes up.

So I phone Overclockers, seem to think it's a windows problem. Fair enough. I reinstall windows through bios boot and external optical drive. Loads all files and drivers fine. But, after restarting a few times etc installing drivers and stuff. Get so far through the initial setup with Cortana etc and my screen just goes blank.. Can see the mouse icon and can tell the windows is still running in the background as I click and I can hear the tone but my display is just black.. Now thinking does my graphics card have a fault..?!

Monitor seems to be picking up the DVI input everytime now but left with this. After the Aorus boot screen there is just no display.

Disappointed.

Update the bios for the motherboard and all drivers.

I have managed to get it working so to do this and I have updated new graphics drivers, motherboard drivers (although mostly sound) and any others I can find including for my monitor. All windows updates as well. Seems to be running smoothly at the moment. But it did for hours on end the first night. The problem started once powering on again the next day.

I have borrowed a spare monitor if it happens next time I'll see if it's the same situation with the other monitor to rule that out.
