Not in this case, they cannot refuse service or ask someone to leave for breastfeeding.

So they can literally, with no exaggeration, flop them both out with no attempted covering, and it's everyone else's problem, even if it puts them off dinner.
And you'd fight for their right to behave in this manner, even if they were being blatantly provocative. Because, the law.

Aha! So they don't do this, in your experience, despite being legally entitled to.Well this fictional scenario has never happened to me in my many years of eating in restaurants, nor is it anything to do with the report the OP refers to.
But yes, they can.

Hmm, does that not make the point, that there is more than just abiding by the law, at play here?
Why do some women make an attempt to cover up? Why do other women get offended by being asked to cover up?
You tell me why...
Great. I'll not bother to argue with any of you supermensch in future. Condescending *****.
Funny that. I don't use male urinals or male communal changing rooms for the same reason. Lack of privacy for something that should be done behind closed doors. It's almost as if some people are a little more conservative towards certain things compared to others and perhaps think certain things should be done in private or at least somewhat discretely.
And that's completely your choice, but does that mean it's ok to force others not to use them simply because it feels uncomfortable to you?Funny that. I don't use male urinals or male communal changing rooms for the same reason. Lack of privacy for something that should be done behind closed doors.
I find it weird that people are so at ease with it.

Different scenario. I choose not to use public changing rooms, because the fundamental purpose of those areas is something I'm not comfortable with. And that's completely your choice, but does that mean it's ok to force others not to use them simply because it feels uncomfortable to you?
Well you closed all my other threads when I veered away from the OcUK mod-approved groupthink....I think it's time to move this on or close it, you decide guys.
I don't even know what that means. No breastfeeding transcends any "construct" that you think exists.
