How nesh can you get? Bloody heating on WTF!

Still got all windows open and patio door open from when I get home until bed. Heating won't get turned back on until late october at least, more likely bonfire night.
 
Heating lol

I haven't closed a window (bar big storms) since end of March. It'll be around late October before most start getting closed for the night. Even in the depths of winter doors and windows are open to circulate air during the day.

Feel the cold more than others. :) While this is the case due to my health (my hands are freezing right now after just getting home).

However as I've said before to people laughing at me turning the heating on, my apartment is in a really old building with single glazed windows. It tends to warm up very slowly from outside air if at all. During the hot periods it can feel dramatically cooler, even more so in the bathroom. Luckily all my utility bills are included in my rent no matter what I use so the heating went on, just in the bathroom.

You think I'd got all my radiators on max judging by some of the reactions lol. However it may come to that soon, considering the temperature right now is a whopping 13c in the mid afternoon.
 
Never heard of that expression before!

It was really cold this morning (single figures) so I don't blame you.

It's not quite central heating weather for us yet, but windows closed and duvet for sure.
 
Well that's that then, no more hot spells are predicted, downhill from here it seems.

This has to be the worst summer weather in memory for me, other than a 5 day heat wave it has been absolutely crap weather and barely justifiable wearing a t-shirt, ******* depressing seriously.

Thought this exact same thing today. Who would have though that summer 2017 would have ended after the third week of July. Even before that it wasn't that good but at least we had a few days here and there! :mad:

That's too much even for me tbh. A nice mid to high twenties would be nice though! And sun! It's no wonder vitamin d deficiency is on the rise.

Sadly it looks like the remainder of summer will be incoming from Iceland. Yay...
 
I'm done with summer and the hot weather now. Sick of it raining but yet still like 19 degrees and humid.
People in work and friends always act like I am a weirdo when I say I hate summer. But what do we get in the Uk really? A few good weeks of really clear sun that you can sit out in and enjoy but all the rest is just rain or cloudy weather but with humidity and heat that makes working and sleeping uncomfortable for 3-4 months not to mention hayfever !
