I just don't get what goes through people's minds when they attempt this. It never looks anything other than cringeworthy and he's actually paid for it to look like that. It's just such a waste of money.

I've never understood these conversions. It's like the MR2 / F360 conversions. They are 100% obviously not a genuine model even from 100 yards away even when done properly so why bother? You're not fooling anyone and at the end of the day you've taken a halfway decent car and made it worse.
I suppose it's the same mindset that puts M3 badges on a 318i or Bentley badges on a 300C.

its ironic really, because they do it to impress people who know enough about cars to recognise the symbols, problem is most of these people also know enough about cars to as you say spot it a mile off.
