I'm going to feel really bad if it she is telling the truth but this looks as fishy as that mother refusing to answer questions about her missing daughter in Portugal.
Different strokes for different folks and all that but she's clearly well above your average British woman and will never struggle for attention or finances.
I've seen a few people say something to this effect; there's no single right way for a victim to react or behave after an ordeal such as this, it would be wrong to draw conclusions based on that. She could just be trying to get back to her normal life and routine again.
If you were going to speak in front of the worlds media you would dress a little more conservatively, I would think so anyway. If she's genuine then she's definitely trying to make the most of the attention.
Seeing her on the news this morning posing for the cameras in her garden made me think publicity stunt. She was absolutely lapping it up, running her hands through her hair, etc. I've not really read up on it though so I don't know if she's genuine or not.
Despite the way she chose to conduct press interview,
she would be rather foolish to be untruthful, ramifications of prosecution for wasting police time, extradition, Italian judiciary is not so reserved (remember Amanda Knox)
It will vary - even some of the nastiest people you never hope to meet find anything to do with kids crossing a line others won't.
In previous cases though they've just dumped them in the middle of nowhere not helped them to a police station or whatever but I guess that could be down to the individual in this case. Still something doesn't add up.
