FIFA 18

Maybe the 'new' crossing techniques? They look good for the attacker but I can see there being lots of impossible to defend lobbed/through crosses that leave defenders in no man's land etc
Andy Carroll and Crouch will be my striking pair this year, then Lukaku when I have the money paired with Kane.

Seeing a lot of comments comparing it to 14 which was one of the worst fifa's in recent memory for me, as always though the gameplay between now and release then after the first major patch will change a lot.

-The game is super heavy, Aguero cant turn without feeling like hes 50st
-player switching is the worst ive seen, undefendable against pace
- LT RT is removed, i guess due to the pace of the game it wouldn't fit
- Driven shots = guaranteed goal
- The new goal kick just oozes kick of goals, i scored 2/2 running directly in a straight line due to the player switching for other guy costing him.
- Cheesy flames behind goal when your at home going off when you score
- When the ball goes in it looks like its gone through the net like a glitchy animation.

IMO its like a mix of 14 and 16. Both the worst FIFA's i can remember huge step backwards.

I'm grateful to have the beta code and an opportunity to play this, but it really does feel just that - a beta. Seems like there is quite a bit more they need to do to have it polished for release. My first impression is that it feels a step backwards from Fifa 17.

I had 3 more games again today, out of 7 games ive only won 3. 6 of them has had 8+ goals, defending is just far too hard, the missed timed tackle takes ages to recover and costs you every time coupled with sluggish play/defenders you've zero chance. Really dont like it still.

The beta's historically aren't about the game per-say more about server loads, game content etc. I mean even when the demo drops the game varies so much from the actual release. I think it's got quite a lot of potential with regards to content.
