HI all,

Looks like I'm building a threadripper edit workstation for a friend based on the 1950x in the Asus Zenith extreme board. Has anyone come across a memory comparability list for this board?

I'm really looking for a 4 x 16Gb kit at 3200 (or 2 x dual kits I suppose) so he still has 4 of the 8 slots free if he needs to add more. He does a lot of After effects work, so lots of RAM is a must.

I was looking at the corsair vengence LPX or similar.

Any advice appreciated.

Best,

E-I

GSkill tridentz 3600Mhz c17 kit we have on the site is currently working 4x16 no issues 3066mhz 16-16-16 and with abit of tuning 3200 too I tried these myself.

64gb GSKILL testing 4x16 3066mhz C16 any higher needs tuning and is not easy for the standard end user. Only limited coverage I know but will leave running overnight along with 128gb Testing of the same mems.

@8 Pack, What parameters/settings did you use to get it working at 3200Mhz? My GSkill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz c17 64GB (4x16GB) will arrive soon, do you know if those settings will work for the RGB RAMs? Isn't the Trident Z and Trident Z RGB RAMs the same except one has RGB?

Also, how did the 128GB testing go. I'm planning to upgrade(in a few months time) to 128GB (GSkill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz c17 8x16GB) and hoping it works at 3200Mhz.
