Would bullets dipped in pigs blood stop Islamic terrorism ?

Going on what Trump was saying. Would it realistically have any effect ? Anyone from Islam who's actually religious care to comment? A terrorist knows or at least willing to die, that we've all figured out. He thinks he's off to his virgins in heaven... But if his body is contaminated by pigs blood, does that mean he'll not go where he thinks he's going to go..

As crazy as the above sounds (religion is crazy after all), you don't go out kill innocents unless you firmly believe what you are doing is in the name of your god ! Obviously they're brainwashed, and dropping bombs isn't going to fix the problem.

But what about publicly announcing any terrorist who commits acts of terror (even if they're dead) will be dipped head to toe in pigs blood, or injected with the stuff if they happen to survive... I know it'll upset a few people as it is somewhat disrespectful... But these people that go mowing down innocent children in their pushchairs, deserve any and everything we can throw at them. With what's going on, a different solution is needed. Would the thought of ending up in the equiv of islamic purgatory be a sufficient deterrent ? (should one even exist)

I think we all agree a deterrent is needed here. Be it ethical or non-ethical, politically correct, or not... Time we put an end to this... OK so you can't punish the whole of islam but what about just the offenders ?
 
Not really - there is the whole thing about being killed by a women or whatever it is with Kurdish fighters using a lot of women but the impact is minimal.

I'm fairly certain this is nonsense. Even if some people believe it (and with 1.8bn muslims on the planet I'm sure we can find one that does), it's not going to be a widespread belief. Do muslims really believe in a god that is incapable of distinguishing between a follower deliberately breaking prohibitions and having prohibited things launched at them? Well no, obviously. Even within that it's not like many would believe one touch and you're damned. I mean Christians don't believe that if you make one mistake you're sent to Hell. Especially if it's something as prosaic as this. So why should muslims be so absolutist. Now of course we're talking about Daesh and other such fanatics so their beliefs on the subject may be more extreme. But ultimately the prohibition against pigs is an arbitrary belief. All it takes is a scholar of sufficient influence to declare that being shot with pigs' blood doesn't count and problem solved.

Now what it would do - even simply as a suggestion - is cause a lot of offense. And that's not good.
 
No. Pigs aren't forbidden in Islam, just their meat is. Covering things in pig blood doesn't mean much if anything. I suppose there are some people who don't have a clue what they're following who think that pigs themselves are "haram".
 
In a nutshell?? No it wouldn't make a difference.

And we are allowed to eat pork if there is no other food available. But not to fill our bellies with it but rather to survive if need be.

But dipping the terrorists in pigs blood is about as stupid as it gets really. I would hazard a guess that it would probably make them laugh rather than quake in their boots.

The fact is that these terrorists aren't afraid to die so whether they are dipped in pigs blood or not, doesn't make a blind bit of difference.
 
As mentioned it is nonsense and has no effect on what happens after death (according to Islam). It would only anger Muslim allies and probably be used as an example to show how the West has no respect for the dead etc.

That excuse doesn't really fly though does it? Remind me what they did to 10 civilian contractors in Iraq? Oh yes, they burned their corpses, strung them from a bridge and then proceeded to hit them with rocks and sticks. Or what the Taliban have a habit of doing? That's right, displaying the body parts of dead soldiers by hanging them from trees along roadways traveled by their colleagues.

I'm just saying how it is, and that isn't a justification on my part. If you have a problem with it I'm sure the Taliban have an email address or something that you could use to communicate to them your views on their hypocrisy.

Either way, use pig's blood or bullets made from frozen vodka it makes no difference from a religious point of view.
