The ROG Rampage VI Extreme/Apex

The 2X dual channel kits are working fine 4000 and 4133 I tried myself.

Those kits around two weeks for 4x8gb.

I trust some more than others but its the general feeling of how it performs, I could choose to buy TR now but I am waiting to see how it performs and i'll make my choice from that. I have no problem buying one if the performance is there but its a chase of justification over just throwing my wallet at something.

I also want to see what you can offer in terms of CPU bins on said CPU's.
 
4133 runs 18-18-18 easy 4K plus stock volts. Not all cpu can do 4133 though. Imc is always good around 4K on these boards. But for 4133 plus type speeds you must bin Imc.
 
Thanks again for info ,would have liked as one kit of 4 but if its happy and works as two kits of 2 will order that and looks cheaper as well ??. ;)
 
Yeah I have been using these kits in quad for a while now. Perfect at 4K 18-18-18.

Not sure why they are cheaper as ic quality and pcb is the same.

Yeah we have stock of dual just run two sets. I tried witg ten sticks from stock all working fine in quad.

Skylake X not all cpu can hit 4133mhz Imc though but that kit easy 18-18-18 at 4K which is more than enough.

Had F4-3200C14Q-32GTZ (bdie 4x8GB Z170 Skylake kit) since BWE

Fired it up last night on the Apex using the 4Ghz profile and quickly knocked timings down to CL16-17-17. Off the bat, absolutely no problems. This platform simply works.


7900X @ 4.7 with 1.25v but will go higher with delid. Also this is with IO voltage at stock and VCCSA at 0.950v
 
I think 2-3 weeks for xtreme.

1.25 for 4.7 does not mean it will go higher with delid. Just improve Temps but maybe not scale with voltage.

Those Sa etc are usual for 4K Mhz. Maybe lower cache voltage from stock to help with Temps 1 or so volts. 33-34 ratio.

Of course it doesn't, but it does go higher - I'm just not happy with the temps.

Captain Obvious ;)

Should do 4.8 no problem, 4.9 at a push. But won't hold my breath on the latter
