Several people are dead and at least four others have been rushed to hospital after a Bank Holiday horror crash involving two lorries and a minibus on the M1. Two men have been arrested.

The motorway has been fully closed southbound between junction 15 at Northampton and junction 14 at Milton Keynes following the devastating smash.

Hmm wonder if it's another case of lorry driver playing on his phone
Just because they are 'professional drivers' doesn't mean they aren't morons, that's the impression I get from most truck drivers these days. Not saying it was their fault of course.
( I had a class 1 licence)

Bbc:

"The two lorry drivers have been arrested, one of them on suspicion of driving while over the alcohol limit"

I was visiting Birmingham recently and a bin lorry drove past, driver was texting.

Thankfully his window was down and I was able to shout at him to get off his phone. With all the high profile lorry type deaths it really beggars belied that these morons are still doing it.

R.I.P Very sad.

Also just think how many people are driving around in a morning still over the drink drive limit after a skin full the night before, in all kinds of vehicles, especially trucks, buses and other large vehicles.

The minibus must have been broken down on the hard shoulder or junction or something. Straight road at 3:15 in the morning so not like it was going to be busy

The minibus wasn't flattened. That's the roof that was cut off by the fire and rescue workers.
