Hi all, would my mother take a Geforce GTX 1080 ??? Please http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/pegatron-2ab5-motherboard-corporation-specs/

Also, my comp hpe 575uk, I did upgrade to a AMD R9 290 and that worked fine, but bought a R9390x, and it will not boot up with it in, upgraded the PS to 850, but still nothing, the fans on the card go, and the comp seems to boot up, but nothing on the screen at all ??? OR WHAT OTHER CARD WILL PLAY GAMES LIKE FORZA & IN 4K AS SMOOTH AS A BABYS BOTTOM ???

Strong first post.

Could you clarify what you mean when you ask, "Would my mother take a GTX?" I would like to explore this further.

A quick search shows that that board a has a lot of compatibility issues with graphics cards. There is a BIOS update (7.15) but that's very old (2011).

Your best bet is to google your board and PC along with the graphics card you're interested in and see if there any known issues.

IS THERE a download to change this, or is it hardwear. Meaning could I download UEFI support, will have a look on the internet now, as a forum member just wrote this to me.

The R9 390x didn't work because the Cleveland-GL8 motherboard has a legacy BIOS (no UEFI support). Since a GTX 960 doesn't work on that motherboard (https://forums.evga.com/PC-can39t-boot-after-installing...), it's very doubtful a GTX 1080 would.

Your probably best off going with a new board, card and probably a decent case and PSU to go with it.

Chances are it will have a crappy generic PSU which I wouldn't be willing to risk running expensive hardware on.
