Yeah that's what I've done. They probably just want to build demand/hype first. Standard looks much nicer

I'm after a monitor for the XBOX X I've currently got a decent monitor but want a 4k one. After looking around I'm thinking it might be best to wait? maybe till next year?

HDR has not hit monitors properly yet. Better off waiting or get a TV with HDR 10.
