Unbelievably, I've only just heard about this incident today, however; it occurred 11 days ago. I suppose I have been off work for the last 3 weeks and so not mingling with as many people but, even still, this sort of thing 2 years ago would have caused a bit more noise and had more media time.
Atrocities like this really are becoming more normal.
 
It was while Barcelona was still an ongoing situation so got lost a little, but as others have said it was mentioned on mainstream news and in the Barcelona thread here.

I tried searching for "finland" with "attack" and then "terror" but nothing came up.

Fair point. It's also exactly the sort of report I would expect from the msm, who avoid commentating on the actual incident and instead attack the person commentating on the incident.
 
Less than 5 seconds of a Google search turns up 1000's of newspaper/media results all from the time of the event to about a week afterwards as more was found out, plus it was on TV/Radio news too alongside the Barcelona attack.

Just because You missed it doesn't mean it wasn't widely reported.

FAKE NEWS. I certainly don't pretend to take any personal accountability for my inability to research the very thing I've just made a thread about! Sad.

My apologies. I'm now balls deep in the Barcelona thread. In my defence, when I'm not at work I'm kind of out of the loop wrt current events and I focus on my family. I'm still surprised this wasn't brought up in conversation though.
 
I have a friend in Turku and he was praising the UK news media coverage of the event, saying that not much was being said on Finnish media so everyone he knew was turned into our news channels instead. So the coverage here can't have been that bad.
