Hi so I've just received my 1080p/144hz monitor and I'm playing BF1 with my 1080Ti and I'm getting around 100 fps in multiplayer with everything set to high and AA off, is this correct because it doesn't seem right to me?

I would guess it's CPU limited, BF1 reaches max utilisation of my 4690K at 4.7GHz. It benefits from hyperthreading. Still get 65-90fps maxed at 1440p with my 980 Ti.

I agree it's CPU bound there. I can usually hit 100 frames easily on my 2600k and GTX1080 at 1440p, but it really does push the CPU.

See that's as much as I'm getting with a 1080ti @ 1080p!

There must be some setting I'm not correcting

Again this is nothing like I'm getting with a faster CPU and GPU.

Could you guys check your in game settings for me please? and perhaps the Nvidia control panel too if you don't mind

How do I turn that off? I can't see the setting, all I have is "in-game overlay" which was turned on but now I've turned it off

DSR is off

I'm not sure I've never looked at it to be honest

I do not see that on mine, just "in-game overlay" option. And I honestly cannot remember ;\

No way! Could you please share your in-game & Nvidia settings please?

He is running a Core i7 5820K which is 6C/12T and your CPU is 4C/4T - BF1 does seem to scale better with more threads especially in online matches.

Right I see, that's too bad, I though my i5 was decent still! I never had a problem with 4k @ 60fps, buttery smooth.

Did not expect 1080p @ 100fps to make my CPU 100% usage

Is there anything else I can do? (Apart from getting a new CPU lol)

100FPS seems pretty solid to me,but then I am probably not the most competitive player!!:p

Maybe try turning off as many background processes as possible, shut down your web browser if you leave it open during matches, etc.
