I am looking for recommendations for a Motherboard to use with my i7 7700K CPU. I would like 6x SATA 6Gb/s and something reliable and stable. Don't need to overclock as I am not a gamer. Only used for office and photoshop mainly. Thank you.

one simple, low cost. one is z270 chipset which can be overclocked
also a lower chipset and slightly smaller size

UK RMA , only manufacture to have repair center in the UK, believe rest is in EU- forgot the location but some member even walked in and handed over their Products personally lol
but OCUK have top class rma anyways and also reps from Gigabyte on here to help

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £298.43
(includes shipping: £10.50)

If you don't go into any detail you can't get any help ;)
What kind of problems?
The ASUS software is reporting temperatures of between 25 and 50 degrees fluctuating every few seconds. I am not asking for help with the ASUS board though really, I am asking for alternative suggestions, as I have lost faith in this one.

Ignore Asus crappy software. Uninstall it and use something else as it's always been buggy. Is this the reason you are pondering a upgrade or have you gone and upgraded to the 7700k despite all the advice suggesting a AMD build?

I had already upgraded to the ASUS Prime Z270-K board and i7 7700K but OC have offered to RMA both. I'm sure it's the ASUS software at fault but concerned it may just be the board or cpu. Totally confused as to what to do now?

Keep them and get rid of the Asus software as it will be a bug in it giving false readings. I presume that this is AI Suite we are talking about? I first used it many years ago when I had my first Asus board (socket 775) and it caused no end of problems. I tried it again when I first upgraded to this board and it was still no better so went back to the tried and tested trouble free HWMonitor, Core Temp, Real Temp, cpu-z, gpu-z and MSI Afterburner.

I was going to keep them but even Core Temp indicates spikes of 50+ degrees when at idle with nothing running in the background :-(
