Vega 64 or 1080

Why do you keep posting this rubbish? "heavily flawed and a good drop slower than an oc'd 1080" I proven you wrong last week was that not enough? Here Raw footage and the RX VEGA 64 wins just has much it looses !!! Just please stop! They on Par with each other! it all comes down to the Games being played and the Resolution also matters.

You haven't proved me wrong on anything matey.

Would you like me to link you to the tech power up review that shows a much wider spread of games (35) that shows the vega on average some way of a stock 1080fe? Because you know I can. The same review (one of many I might add) that said far more negative things about Vega than I can (or will).

Heavily flawed. Well yes.

Huge power draw.
Noisy
Hot
Lacking in performance and that's not including the elephant in the room (1080ti).
Poor at VR
Poor quality control at launch.
No crossfire support
Important features turned off.

I'm sorry I know your a huge AMD fan and this hurts you but the writing was on the wall a long time ago and only the delusional can ignore it.

Give me raw footage, not some on paper graphs they mean nothing.

Indeed, two times 1080x1200 is actually lower than 2560x1080 (a standard 21:9 res) and these cards have no issue maxing out games at that res.

You have to remember that the render resolution is generally higher than that, unless overridden by the application. Default render scale for the Vive is 1.4 and I believe this is the same for the Rift.

Not on this one.
He's using the day 1 drivers for his overclock in that video - chances are the overclock wasn't applied as Wattman wasn't applying clocks correctly - we all thought our cards were overclocking beyond 1.9 Ghz on those drivers but with the latest drivers it's hard to go beyond 1.8 yet the performance is higher. That review is on longer relevant.

From what I've been seeing, the cards don't seem anywhere near as bad as you're stating. I think I'll just stick to reading users testimonies and ignore people that are emotionally invested in this Vega launch.

When overclocked on the benches the Vega64 is just ahead of the GTX 1080 but it only by a small margin.

Seems the AMD cards are better than some people are saying. I've been out the loop for a while so trying to catch up.

I personally still cannot believe the poor VR performance, wtf are AMD thinking?? And they stated that they're prioritising this!???? Only God knows what the performance would be like if they weren't!!!!!!!!

I must have missed the review on Vega VR have you got a link or name please?
