So today I woke up with Man Flu and as we all know, it's one of the worst things in the world and can cripple you for days, even weeks!

I've been taking the usual cold/flu medicine which has barely touched it and when googling 'get this cold out of me now!' I stumbled across a website stating that raw garlic is a great way to help tackle a cold.

I'm a MASSIVE fan of garlic so had plenty around so gave it a little go and I have to admit, it's 15 minutes in and my nose has stopped running and my throat is much better!

Still sceptical as this could just be the medicine finally kicking in but I shall continue to try this till this Man Flu disappears but though it'd let others know in case you're all dying of man flu like me!

The Flu is a bit generic, your better of describing the symptoms. Generally if I have 'Man flu' I have the shivers and a temperature which I treat with full strength paracetamol and stay in bed.

I find the old staples of chicken soup help to massively offset it and lemsip type stuff lets me sleep at least somewhat at night.

The cure for "Man Flu" (i.e. a bad cold) is definitely just drink fluids and man the **** up.
This.

Man flu is a derogatory term for men who whimper and claim to have the flu as soon as they get a little sniffle. If you actually have man flu, the cure is to get on with your life.

If you actually mean you have the flu, then fluids (honey and lemon in hot water is superb, not the lemsip type but actual runny honey and lemon juice) coupled with bedrest.

Common cold has been going about my workplace a bit, I caught it a few days ago. Just taking nurofen throughout the day has kept it at bay just fine for me so far.

Yeah carry on as normal, spread the cold everywhere. Sit at your desk coughing and sneezing away like a ****.

So manly!

Echinacea

Been using for years and never had a cold or a sore throat. Outdoors can be brutal here.

Works a treat and that's a fact.

I was buying the milk for work earlier and noticed halls and lockets now located infront of the tills were down on stock and thought ahhh its that season again :(

I'd like to point out that this was mostly sarcasm :D

I'm fortunate that I'm on a Virtual Course this week so not being an arse and spreading it round the office!

Night/Day Nurse seems to be doing the trick for me!
