what is in peoples opinion the very best soundcard that i can use with the astro a50 7.1 gaming headset
for very best 7.1 sound effects thanks

Actually the base station has optical in/out but the instructions refer to this for the PS4. However it also mentions "soundcard" in the very poor instructions.

Dug this out of google from 2014 - appears it can be connected to a PC soundcard

OP just needs to source a decent (prob expensive) sound card with optical input.
