I'm sure that when they went to check them they found that they were all mysteriously switched off.

We don't have anywhere near the same level of issues surrounding police misconduct or misuse of force as the US does, and our own issues don't prohibit discussion of those in other countries.

Usually the heinous crime of telling people repeatedly to not block the road, getting abused by said people after repeatedly telling them to not block the road or grabbing them by the arm and leading them to the pavement and then arresting one or two for public disorder offences while they scream and shout about "muh disabilities" and some white knight type berates them as being "disgusting" for treating a woman in such a way.

He had no warrant and the patient wasn't under arrest, case closed, go home Dibble.

She will just end up suing them and cashing in, she hasn't lost anything out of this in the long run really.

It's like departments don't send memos to their officers about this kind of crap.

You've also got the incident where a white woman was stopped for a DUI and was nervous about dropping her hands to pick up her phone, even though the cop was telling her to, because "she had seen many videos of police shooting people" and the policeman responds "But you're not black, We only kill black people remember"

Next incident. Cop shoots cameraman setting up in car park to film lightning, turns out they knew each other and the victim and town are largely supporting the cop.

Surely the cop was making a joke. I mean given that all day every day they have to put up with news stories about how racist they are, it seems a logical, dark-humoured joke to make.

He was or he wouldn't have stuck the word 'remember' on the end, most people today will just ignore that fact so that they can be outraged. I have no doubt that some cops will be racist as they aren't all saints but your average cop is probably sick of being accused of racism every time a black person dies when in some cases they are probably actually reaching for a gun or generally disobeying orders.
