Might swap to iPhone now my S7 died

So I killed my S7, it won't charge anymore (18 month hold had it for a whole 5 mins), so I need a replacement.

Never had an iPhone, I did Windows CE, Android, Windows Phone and back to Android. Fancy a change and my dads "just works".

I can get the SE for almost half the price of the 7 (in the UK), with a staff discount at Littlewoods and interest free credit, both are a fair price. Just the SE is a lot cheaper.

Will I notice the difference between the two? I can look up specs forever and a day but I don't know iOS like I do Android.

Just depends what size screen you want really, I have a 7, gf has a SE......I couldn't go back to the SE screen size, and originally I hated the size of the 6(& then 7).

That's the biggest worry, I have an S7, always hade big phones since the Note 2. Camera I don't care, but I do use my phone a lot for reddit and kindle.

Does that include accidental damage though? Hard hide with a cracked screen!

New iPhone comes out soon, if you wait until its out you might find other prices drop with its arrival.

Cracked screen was annoying but useable. Not turning on its a bit more of an issue lol.

Unfortunately Samsung make it incredibly expensive to repair their devices, especially the screen, and would probably rather you simply buy a new devise altogether.

The iPhone SE is a great device but I’d wait until the new iPhones are announced before making a buying decision.

It is kinda weird I guess. I just never had any interest in apple products until my dad got an iPhone last year. He's splashing out on an iPad soon too.

I wouldn't go for less than an iPhone plus model if you do lots of reading. Not only is the size much better for reading, but it's sharper than it's non plus smaller brother. As said though, I'd wait a month and see what the new model brings. Either you'll love it and want one, or you'll take advantage of the cheaper older model.

I'm holding out until the 12th, more to see what happens to the prices of the SE and the 7.

Plus is out, too big for me. I have gone back to using my Kindle Fire to read and I am enjoying it far more, less distractions I guess, psychologically it's my e-reader, so I read instead of YouTube.
