What happened to all the good old OcUK Lynching and Permabanning?

I pass my term by getting bans past the swear filter these days its not a patch on the good o`id days.

Hmmmm not sure whats worse lol

Just the way i am :)

Going back on topic, well you can't permaban everyone otherwise there wouldn't be a forum, what the mods should do is be like an old type of prison guard, us members are like slaves prisoners mopping the floor and the mods are the guards and have big whips and can slash us to get back in line sort of thing, well i guess they do with a temp ban, this place should be fun with a little bit of banter, not the way it seems to be with greedy and selfish folk spoiling it :):)

i used to like Castiel, if you couldnt be arsed to read the wiki on something just start an argument with him and hed post you a wonderful summery of it for you.

I think I've spotted a very similar poster now you mention it. Not many people write in that style! :)

We had the guy ... Obviously called DM Poole, but has changed his name several times to try cover his tracks and his ludicrous claims about poking dead people up the bum in his NHS job in Stoke ... I'm not joking, this DM Poole guy would boast about it and get away with it here in Spie times.

Dimple, sexy fox or something? covering his tracks always, he was in a sort of hate group once, its all out there.

Haha no not banned from SC just the thread that starts with B and ends in freedom - but as thats progressing nicely theres no real need to discuss it. :D

Couldn't give a monkey's how public it is, not that i support the BNP, i support the Labour party end of. :)

Hmmmm not sure whats worse lol

1) If you think Brexit is progressing well then you are most likely beyond help.
2) If you don't know which is worse out of the BNP or the Labour Party then you are certainly beyond help.

There's a bit of a culture of difficult people on this forum isn't there tbh? It's no wonder there's barely any women on here. A lot of mysgynistic opinions and generally a bit of a bitter outlook. There's some gems, but there also aren't. I'm still here though

Mods are power crazy at times. But the majority of members are great and often make interesting posts, hence why I keep coming back.

It's not so much about misogyny as it is naturally differing interests of the sexes. Women don't necessarily belong everywhere, hard as that may be to swallow for the gender neutrality loons. Just like typical blokes wouldn't generally hang out on a flower arranging forum.

But hey if misogyny fits your leftist agenda better then carry on.

Why do you classify misogyny as leftist? If anything that form of bigotry is right wing. People on the left are generally well balanced, it's the people on the right you need to worry about.

Read again. I classify instantly labelling everything related to women as misogyny a leftist trait, not misogyny itself.

Though I had to snigger at 'people on the left are generally well balanced'. That's a good one.

I'm glad I don't know you in real life.

A lot goes on "behind the scenes" that most people don't see. For instance, with spammers we have the ability to delete their account, all posts and search for matching IPs with a click of a button. With the old forum it would take at least five minutes to clear up that mess, especially if they'd posted in multiple sub forums.

Also, we have a larger team so more eyes to spot issues and more minds to discuss problems before taking action.

I've permabanned about 5 posters in the last week so I can assure you, it does happen ;)

Threads in GD are usually full of resident experts arguing page after page the same point over and over, I've done it myself.

There's a select few funny/interesting posters still here but their posts are drowned out by the constant one upping/autism.

Post of the year.

Reading some of the drivel posted by these 'experts' makes my day sometimes.

It's not that all the women are hanging out on flower arranging forums, they're not hanging around on forums much at all by comparison to men. They've got better things to do, it seems.

Well I primarily use this as a place to request and occasionally offer advice on practical things, rather than political or religious debate. There is a very useful knowledge base amongst the membership and I wouldn't want to lose access to that.

The only place I don't tread very often is SC. That does come across as a very difficult place to hold a sensible discussion and seems to be largely the domain of the forum grandees with a 10k plus post count. Woe betide if you post a view which doesn't sit comfortably with the predominant view of the majority users (Brexit thread is an example) and at times seems like a sixth form common room for keyboard SJW's.
