A week in New York.

I know I could probably look this up but...

What do I need to do/fill out for a trip to NY as a UK passport holder.

With 7-9 days anyone recommend a really competitivley priced hotel or best website to start looking.

You need an ESTA to enter the country. Loads of threads on New York if you search.

We stayed at NYLO on Broadway and W 77th, which is about halfway up Central Park, which was nice enough and decently priced:

Yep I will I'm just out now. Wondered if much had changed since trump.

As Sweden is not in Mexico or the Middle East I'm sure you'll be safe

Wife and I went back in April and there was a lot of security around trump tower, we were staying quite nearby. I gather its calmed down now as Mrs T and the children moved to Washington. The locals really don't like him: a lot were making rude gestures at the building when walking by and were making points of apologising for him when they found out we were tourists.

We found New York very welcoming to tourists, you just have to tune out the gestapo inquisition you will get at the airport before they let you in.

Best free things we did: The staten island ferry round trip for photos of Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline and also the highline walk.
