It ain't alright, anything over 80 in a bend with a bit more lean angle and it feels like the bike is going to go from under you...
It was alright on good surface roads, but any smaller bumps and the bike was scary to ride. Once on a road when we were lets say warming up the tyres... I got some air off one of the bumps.I've ridden a few of them and they've never got hairy on me. Suppose it depends on the bend.
Depends how you ride? It was alright, for normal rideouts, but try to keep up with bikes that had fully adjustable suspension and whilst I was coming out of a corner, they were diving into the next one.I never had a problem with my sv650.
Depends how you ride?
Can't you just put better shocks under whatever bike? Don't they put GSXR front ends on SV's to make them good?
No offence, but you need to grow up before you get back on any bike.I might get a Harley, if I were to comeback onto the public roads. Hmm... what do you guys think?
Alright, I won't steal Didums thread.![]()
Knee down is a **** measure of cornering ability anyway.
That's why I said riding habits not riding ability. You can be an amazing rider, but it's pointless if you're in prison or dead.Knee down is a **** measure of cornering ability anyway.
Cruise... I know a few people in their early 20's on Harleys, so its not like I wouldn't have anyone to ride with. There would be no point of going out with the guys I rode with, 1st corner and there would be no sight of them. You say a bmw 1200GS is an old man's bike yet at 20 you want a Harley?![]()
Yeah one of the Kwaka 636 shocks is a popular mod and yeah GSXR front end. Thats what I have done on mine, SRAD Forks and an old GSXR shock I had laying around, not that I have ridden it yet, could ride awful![]()
