Late 80's Early 90's nostalgia (possibly later) - Help needed

Ok - So yes this will become a bit of a wild goose chase, but I am going crazy trying to remember something from my youth.

Let me start with ITS NOT MONSTERS IN MY POCKET - but they were in the same vein.

Pocket sized Collectables (which i am sure you used to buy in little blister or individual packs).

They were monsters and creatures, and were fully coloured and make of a tough plastic/rubbery material.

Monster in my pocket was just 1 colour of plastic - these things i remember where fully painted.

One toy i specifically remember is an eyeball with wings..

Smurfs, well without the wings part. Used to collect them.

I had the same toy as a child, they were aliens and not monsters. In fact, my parents have still got them all at their house, along with a "moon base" on wheels that they could all live in.

Actually, the "fishing" alien is stuck behind one of my cupboards in the living room...
