'Incident' on Tube - District Line

18 confirmed injured, mainly burns and from the stampede to get away. Nobody has anything life threatening and I hope everyone makes a complete recovery. Makes you shudder thinking about facial burns.

A lot of school kids on the train at that time, but with CCTV this coward will hopefully be in custody by nightfall.

Luckily there are no fatalities and with all the cctv the scum who left this will be caught.

Can't stand the Daily Mail. Always sensationalism and downright lies, quoting "anonymous sources" for their clickbait trash articles.

Some pictures of a guy that's got burnt;

That's why people with more than a few brain-cells don't read that garbage.

Utter dribble, no evidence of a second bomb or knife-man .

The Daily Mail regurgitating unverified dribble from Nicky Harley just goes to show what a crap paper it is

From the BBC and other sources :

People 'crawling over one another'

Commuter Aaron Butterfield was trying to get into the station to get to work.

"People weren't even running, they were literally crawling over one another and just fleeing I guess," he said.

The production manager said police had told him there had been an explosion and "someone was running around with a knife".

"Then we have just been told there's another explosive device.

"It's been really frightening and very confusing especially as no-one really knows what's going on," he added.

Glad no one got seriously hurt (I think) and that my GF & housemate were running late this morning as that's their route.

It's amazing how fast Trump is at tweeting regarding terrorist incidents like this.

Why don't they put body/bag scanners into the ticket machines? You walk through them anyway, surely would deter a lot of terrorists.
to detect what? have you seen what you got to take off your person to get through airport scanners, and there's plenty of un-manned stations as well.

hope everyone recovers fast.

Putting aside the logistics and cost, Shirley you would then just lift the bag above the scanner??

Clearly you'd have guards to make sure they were being properly used but due to cuts there probably aren't enough staff to do that. Also if you tried to skip it, that would make you look very suspicious and I am sure people would report that straight away.
