'Incident' on Tube - District Line

If it means being soft and hyper sensitive, I'd say that would apply to right wingers panicking about things in that sort of manner.
No kidding - the internet tough guy brigade are some of the most easily shocked and offended people alive (see the endless whining about John Lewis offering a unisex clothes line).

Can't wait for loads of people to change their social media profile pics to have Parsons Green in the background. So helpful and thoughtful. They really are such great people who deserve loads of likes.

still leaves the psychological effects though, people thinking that if one person can do that on the Tube another, more competent, one could at any time.
Yeah, but no-one cares so long as they get a good enough signal to keep playing Candy Crush and Swipe Left on profiles.
Photos of the shocked and stunned witnesses, where people look more concerned about how long it's taking to upload a Tweet...

You can't terrorise people who aren't terrified... and after decades of the IRA, we're generally so "not bovvered" that it'd be a stretch to say we're even mildly inconvenienced by this.

Been confirmed that the device had a timer set so they were lucky that it didn't go off in a tunnel.
Lucky for me too, as I'd have had to pull a night shift to help fix it!!

Does it? We've gone from passenger jets being flown into buildings to exploding lidl shopping bags. Is that really a reason to be scared?

Come on, you know as well as I do there have been several horrific incidents lately. I've just returned from a trip to Spain that included a visit to Barcelona. I felt ok but my wife was on edge the whole time although the sniffer dogs at the train station didn't help.

You do know that it was a pressure cooker bomb put inside a Lidl bag? The thing could've killed and maimed dozens. While yes it's not on the scale of the 9/11 attacks, the effects could've been horrific.

Well the Manchester bombing shows that bomb making can happen we did not have anything for years but it shows that people are slipping through the net.

Fortunately in this case it failed but who knows whats next :(
