Hi All,

I am looking for some help upgrading my system used for high end 4K video editing in Adobe Premiere CC and After Effects CC.

My current system is shown in my signature below, I would like to upgrade the MB, CPU and RAM.

Any suggestions welcome budget £1000 - £1500!

Thanks in advance for your time.

Seriously? LOL... Nobody on a community forum replied to your post in under 10 hours, so you're spitting your dummy and buying from a competitor? Strike that; not only buying from a competitor but you felt the need to tell us all, too. Are the competitor going to spec your build for you because nobody here has, yet? Or do you rather think the community members here, who get no money from OcUK, are somehow going to be hurt and spited you spent your cash elsewhere instead? Have fun if anything goes wrong, their support is... interesting.

For £1,500 the answer is probably Threadripper with the cheaper Asus board and 8Pack memory btw. Unless you rely on GPU acceleration (I imagine you do given you're using Adobe stuff). In which case R7 with 8Pack mem and throw some of the the grand change at Vega gfx. Some posters will be along tomorrow to tell you a CoffeeLake i3 has higher clocks.
