Creature comforts in a performance car? Good seats, heater, radio - Done!
I didn't even notice the difference, all the cars I actually desire I can't get insured on. So I just went with my brain and thought, ok lets get something reliable, over 30mpg and something I can use to overtake elderly people on A/B roads if there's a need.Prices for these have been going up recently for some reason. I'd want to pay more like 1250 for that. 1500 if it's mint mint.
I don't like pre facelift ones.
I've been searching for a T Sport Celica, but they went up sky high...Post face lift all the way. It's almost 8/10ths civic type r performance for 6/10 the costs. Insurance prove is low bit these are good cars.
I've owned a corolla t sport and a Celica GT t sport special edition for 3 years each enjoyed them.
You can rev the crap out of the EP3 though and it won't blow up...EP3 has no creature comforts, Clio has a **** interior and dodgy electrics as well as a flat spot, Focus ST has awful fuel economy and a risk of cylinder liners cracking, MPS has the timing chain issue as well as torque steer, etc.
Exactly, seats that actually hold you in so you're not all over the place, radio with Aux/USB, AC would be nice. I would describe myself as a petrolhead... I don't care about automatically folding mirrors, I see it as unnecessary weight!Creature comforts in a performance car? Good seats, heater, radio - Done!
I've been commuting in all weather on a bike, I don't need comfort. I'm not over 50...In a Lotus Elise, sure. In an everyday hatchback? Not so much.
A diesel would probably be good, but I don't want a diesel. A trailer with 2 trackbikes isn't that heavy, Most average cars should be able to tow it.I wouldn't want to tow anything with my T-Sport.
You want torque for towing, which the Corolla has none of.
