Hotel/Breakfast - What would you do?

Just booked a hotel and in the section where it gives you details it suggests no free breakfast

Further down in the bumf about the hotel it mentions a free breakfast

On another website it gives 2 prices as per my booking website, however the more expensive price is due to the inclusion of breakfast

Do i
a) Pray that i get free breakfast and it's just part of it being a small establishment rather than a big hotel
b) Assume breakfast isn't included, stop being cheap and pay if i want breakfast there
c) Expect breakfast and complain if they suggest it isn't, showing them the above image showing it states i get food.

On the first site i would expect breakfast if i was paying the £179, the same as hotels.com are advertising it as.

Their website suggests it's offered on both a room only and b&b basis so i'm thinking the cheaper rate just doesn't include breakfast. Wondering how much sway i'd get if i pointed out it's advertised as including it. Or even after the fact taking it up with the booking agent.

Depends what kind of breakfast it is. If it's a cooked breakfast then B.

If it's a continental breakfast I don't even know why you are concerned.

a whole 10p, its hardly hard to just look up the hotel and find out its £9.95 per breakfast, and its not hard to hit the contact us button and send them an email going it states free breakfast but then doesn't show free breakfast and see what they say.
I'm surprised OP even managed to book it online.

That's exactly what i've done. Just wondered whether there was any other views about how much to push to the breakfast given it's clearly not included when looking properly but based on the fact it does state it would be.

This. You are a tiny walk from loads of places that will serve breakfast.

£20 per person might not be worth it but typically hotel breakfasts are very good and are conveniently located in the hotel. I'd suggest paying for it.

Nothing in particular, just a way to get away from the house and spend time with the wife where we don't end up spending the weekend doing jobs around the house.

Well if you don't end up eating breakfast at the hotel, there's a few nice cafe's around instead like this one. Or just gorge yourself at Hickory's instead

phone them and point it out, see what excuse they come up with
will make you feel better when you do have to pay for breakfast
