I have the msi x370 gaming plus motherboard with ryzen cpu. Im having trouble finding the right ram that will be compatible with the board. Any help will be greatfull. Thanks.

A few choices - 3000MHz and 3200MHz variants:

These 3000MHz sticks have a proven track record and should/will hit 2933MHz using the XMP with the latest BIOS.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

These 3200MHz are AM4 approved meaning they'll work at 3200Mhz using XMP - but at a premium price - the 8 Pack kit will usually clock higher but is very expensive...

You should note that there's only a 2%-3% gain for the extra outlay over 3000Mhz kits. The 3000MHz kits are the best price : performance ratio.

. I like how that one sounds and will look into it more.
They're AM4 approved sticks (b-die) with slightly looser timings than the 8 Pack - means they should work at 3200MHz using the XMP.

However, i've setup up few sets - real and virtually - and couple of sets defaulted to 1.2V at 3200MHz instead of 1.35V using the XMP. So if you do buy them check the voltage when you set the XMP before exiting the BIOS.

Once you've established they're stable you could play with tighter timings - may need to bump to 1.4V - this is over spec but won't do any harm...
