Yup was always using Stay Forward / Run behind on attackers.

Got about 60k saved up to buy a team and have a play around, just ran a couple of drafts yesterday.

Trying to like this but its hard..

Its playing like 17 with a load of inputlag programmed in.

players are so sluggish. All players turn like boats. Hard getting shots away before getting closed down. Player animations take far to long to complete. Lost count on the number of off the ball collisions.

Passing is completely dire.

Just tried out Jesus who was pretty nice to use. 4 goals in 2 games.

I'm struggling admittedly had a couple this morning and keepers are killing me. Can't make my mind up with it, being slower makes it feel less responsive, passing is far too accurate and pace is the key to beating those sluggish defenders.

I'm just focusing on trying to learn and adapt as it doesn't suit my play style.

I have found 4-1-2-1-2 much better than 4-3-3 or any of the 5 at the back formations.

Prefer this to 17, seems to suit the way I play more than 17 did, though I couldn't pinpoint exactly why.

4321 seems solid, just abusing the loan Lacazette, he scored 5 in the first half of one game. Bought Sanchez at CB from Tottenham, seems strong and solid.

Explain this discord to me, I am interested. How does it work with ps4?

I've been using the web app. Not made any money from any packs or anything but not an issue as the game isn't even out yet. My plan is to stock up on fitness cards (going for about 600-800) and then resell when it's weekend. This does mean all my money is tied up and I am not sure how I will go about qualifying. Sure I can make a team that can qualify with a small budget. I managed it last year playing Fellani up front.

Packed Willian from the "It Takes Eight" SBC which cost me around 9k to do. Happy with that. Will keep hold of him and see what I pack when I drop on some fifa points on Friday. Opted for the physical copy this time incase it's bad/I'm really bad at the game

Played past fifa on ps4 last one was 14 and after that always xbox, swapped back but now won't let me access companion app for ps4 details arghhh I usual like to trade etc week before oh well

I've caved, cancelled icon edition and bought the standard, won't have much time to play before the weekend anyway and the loan players, kits and packs aren't worth an extra £45 unless you get a dream pull.

My opinion on it is still the same but I have few other games capturing my attention at the minute, it's a good thing I'm not a controller smasher as this year is going to be costly for some individuals

Nah, I get the frustration and the more you play the more comes out. Will be a tough game to master this one. I do hope the goal keepers are patched and defenders giving a little pace boost of some sort. The attackers runs and pace makes them unstoppable even when reading the play.
