I have bought the Ronaldo edition for my son, but i have used my account to get it as it is set up for the US address trick. Turns out the contents don't share after seeing only my xbox was downloading the ronaldo loan, 20 packs etc. Will he still get the 3 day early access?

I use a combination of LT and RT to do close dribbling, fake shot and heel flicks to make space.

The ridiculous missed interception animations are terrible and annoying. Why do players just lunge when they're 2 yards from the ball and just completely screw up your defence. Bizarre.

what on earth is Discord?! I'm really not enjoying the game so far, defences seem ridiculously deep and strikers are so isolated, attacks lack any fluidity. Dribbling also just feels rubbish. Hmph.

I packed rashford in the starters and have been trading hard. Will post my team later, just a decent/good Bpl, at the moment but I have 124k in the bank. I have played FIFA since the beginnning and 17 was the only one I really didn't like. I am enjoying this one far more but there is a definite need for a tweak to the defenders , I had an opponent attack me last night with two strikers and I have 3 at the back, they ALL ran to cover the the free striker and left the guy with the ball to go straight through and score. It was absolutely bizarre and a pretty major glitch in the AI. I was raging lol. I've won div 10 but not tried a draft yet which is today's plan as I wanted some money first. Woke up this morning to 96 people sold , 74 of which were the same player who is doing well for my trading so far

AI doesn't defend for you anymore you should be closing the runner down and switching Man to cut the pass off.. This won't get patched it's part of the new game and it's marmite either way you look at it.

I've found positioning and AI defending fine although it feels arcade-y when someone times a through ball just right and it gets through regardless as a 'reward' despite the defender being in a perfect position to intercept it.

My main issue, apart from the interception ridiculous, is getting people up to support attacks as defences seem ridiculously deep? What formations are people using on here?

I'm having good results with the old fashioned holding a while defending near the box. But can't seem to get the numbers up front like yourself.

As an educated guess have you tired play instructions Stewy?
