The famous Double Down burger is finally coming to the UK on 09/10/17. Its basically a sandwich with the bread replaced with chicken. Wanted to try it for ages, can't wait for this

The Double Down was a dish offered by Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurants where a sandwich is formed by two pieces of fried chicken rather than the more usual halves of a bread roll. Although I don't get it, if you want to avoid carbs, it still has all the breading around the chicken and if you aren't avoiding carbs have the bun, things in buns taste better. The grilled version makes more sense.

Nah, the whole point is to be super strict. No sugar, no fast-food, no caffeine, at least 30mins at the gym every day.

I am doing a diet thing in solidarity with my fiance, so nothing with added/refined sugar (so fruits and veg are fine), no caffeine, no fast-foods. For a whole year. o_0

A pressure deep fat fryer is pretty specialist kit - no ? - or are they available in the USA for domestic use ?
what would it do for fish, doughnuts, or chips ? - I am sure someone in KFC must have tried after hours.

That's like saying just make your own southern fried chicken at home, it will be same.

Pro tip: It will not.

Unless you have a specialised pressure fryer.

I would argue it's far tastier and you don't need a pressure fryer.
