Madeleine McCann investigation 'cost £10 million to date'

At best they are guilty of severe neglect. Why are we just accepting their story?
What i do not understand is why they did not get charged for even basic child neglect, if there is such a thing, neglect is neglect to me, isnt there a law against leaving you're kids alone in the first place, even in you're own home, this was in a different country?

And i am not having because it was a different country then the UK police couldnt charge them with neglect because of jurisdiction. If this was a couple from a council estate things would be different.

Possibly due to the laws being different in other countries?

Kate answered all 48 questions the day before she was made an Aguido.
On the day she was made an Aguido she was advised not to answer the exact same questions because she'd already done so.
Because the answers they rehearsed may come out slightly different the second time, ofc they are not going to do it again as the story would most likely change.

Still 100% believe something happened and they covered it up.

Also its truly unbelievable they haven't been charged with SOMETHING.
They caused the death/disappearance of their own child, either directly or indirectly, neglect whatever, something.

I have attended so many Child Protection lectures and this always comes up.
Neglect has to be proved and that the child is suffering because of it.
Just because a child is left in a room 100 yards away it may sound like neglect to you but it isn't NEGLECT in the bigger picture.
Also remember that they were part of a larger group with other children and they were all looking in on each others children, it's strange that nobody has accused one of the other parents.

This also means that the other people who were on holiday with them also helped to cover it up.
Before Kate went on her time slot somebody else had looked in on all the children (not just McCanns), this means that when Kate found Maddie dead she now had minutes to get rid of the body where a manhunt wouldn't find her and then go running back to the Tapas bar announcing Maddie had gone.
makes perfect sense - not.

They murdered her, hid her in a fridge for 4 weeks, hired a car and then got rid of her somewhere - allegedly - be careful what you're claiming as fact

Lol - whoooooooooooooooosh whoever moderated that.
I can't believe you fell for it, read my other posts

SHAME ON YOU

Go on, own up, who was it?

I find it absurd that the McCanns have suppressed evidence, refused to answer questions from the police, litigated against sceptics and people still take what they say as gospel.

Never done it, my kids were spread over two chairs fast asleep if we were out but NEGLECT in Child Protection in our country is a very big word.
Abandoning children usually has to be continually done (could be one time) and to a point where it mentally upsets the child so if they went out every night and Maddie was screaming her head off then there would be a case to answer.
Besides that, they are in another country and even if our authorities wanted to prosecute they can't, would you expect to be prosecuted in England for a theft you did in Portugal? - of course not.

What annoys me is the amount of parents who still do this abroad, I'm a brilliant people watcher and every year I will spot at least three families who are leaving their kids in the hotel rooms, it's always gone on and always will unless a universal law is passed.
Every time I spot a family doing this I want to approach them and say "Did you learn nothing from Maddie"?".

Keeping my beliefs out of this for the sake of clarity, you simply can not deny all the questionable events in this case. This entire investigation is covered in red flags, make of that what you will.
