best cpu cooler for fx6300 and future ryzen 5?

Can't go wrong with Noctua, they are big coolers though.

Either that or the CM Hyper 212. Just be sure to check compatibility with Ryzen's AM4 bracket (the 212 LED Turbo has one shipped with it, but the cooler might be a bit large for what you want)

If you want to get by on a low budget I would look at coolers like Alpenfohn Matterhorn Pure. Much better than 212 at similar price. Another one is Raijintek Ereboss, especially if you have a good fan you are using to put on it.

My guess is OcUK has not updated their sales literature. Alpenfohn says Matterhorn Pure does support AM4.
The included ultra-high-performance thermal grease Permafrost makes this deal perfect and guarantees the best possible cooling for CPUs in socket 2066, 2011, 2011-v3, 1366, 115x (Skylake compatible), 775, AM4 (with Upgrade-Kit), AM3(+), AM3, AM2(+), AM2 and FM1.

and for Matterhorn Pure:
The mounting system ensures a simple and secure installation of the cooler on the sockets 2066, 2011, 2011-v3, 1366, 115x(Skylake compatible), AM4 (with Upgrade-Kit), AM3(+), AM3, AM2(+), AM2 as well as FM1.
