best cpu cooler for fx6300 and future ryzen 5?

i currently have a fx6300 but think i may upgrade upto a ryzen 1600 next year.

which cooler am i best going with? im going to keep a small case so i don't want something massive.

Can't go wrong with Noctua, they are big coolers though.

Either that or the CM Hyper 212. Just be sure to check compatibility with Ryzen's AM4 bracket (the 212 LED Turbo has one shipped with it, but the cooler might be a bit large for what you want)

If you want to get by on a low budget I would look at coolers like Alpenfohn Matterhorn Pure. Much better than 212 at similar price. Another one is Raijintek Ereboss, especially if you have a good fan you are using to put on it.

No nearly all coolers come with a fan.

that would be a great question. Best to ask customers service section for that one. I know you can get the am4 mount kits for that cooler separately but not sure if they come in the box. They should be free if you buy the cooler anyway.

I had to get 2 sets for am4 for my phanteks coolers when I updated to am4

My guess is OcUK has not updated their sales literature. Alpenfohn says Matterhorn Pure does support AM4.

does the Ryzen 5 1600 come with the wraith spire in the box, it got good reviews as i remember.
