Mass Shooting in Las Vegas

Crazy stuff, saw the headline early this morning and expected it to be some random lunatic in the street who got put down pretty quickly by police. It really shocked me when I checked the news again around dinner and saw what had happened, there's some seriously broken individuals out there in the world.

Poor buggers didn't stand a chance either, watched a short video of somebody filming near the back, must have pumped about a hundred rounds into the crowd before people even realized that something was wrong, then it just sounds like a crush to get out, shots still ringing in the distance. Sadly I think the numbers will go up and up, must have fired hundreds of rounds into that place.

Is this Stephen Paddock. It does look like him. Same goatee and facial hair, same colour as well. Apparently this footage has been passed onto authorities.

Wearing a NASA t-shirt as well. Stephen Paddock owned 2 planes and worked for Lockheed Martin.

It's all pretty crazy what's happened here if this turns out to be true, so sad. Hopefully we'll get some answers.

The narrative in the media of Trump supporters are evil could be something that triggers someone with low critical reasoning skills and logic. It was a country music festival, filled with Trump supporters. People on the opposite political spectrum won't like hearing it, but this could be very much a case of attacking 'right wing' people in retaliation to Charlottesville or something. I don't think you can rule that out at all.

"he was a quiet man" is like the definitive line to describe somone going postal. it's what everyone says.

no one wants to go on tv and say "yeah he was bat **** crazy allways knew he'd do soemthing like this" cause theyd be vilified for it

so hang on you just described him as low inteligence/low reasoning skills now you're saying he worked for Lockheed Martin and was a pilot?

Whole thing just makes no sense.... some guy who owns planes (pretty successful obviously....), 64 years old, worked for well known company. What all of a sudden went wrong in his head?

Yeah, true, that is stupid. I wrote the low reasoning skills post before knowing he worked for Lockheed Martin. Easy mistake to make considering I was generalising about people that revert to these extreme solutions. So, it makes it even worse then if he was of decent intelligence, more of a political agenda in my eyes, it is all a bit fishy. Hopefully some answers will provided over the next week or something
