Mass Shooting in Las Vegas

Newgamer, to clarify, he shot and handled stuff that the guide didn't want him to film shooting because they weren't legally owned.

He did not, and had no intention of, ever trading in them, as a gun nut he did want to fire them in a controlled way. The point was more how easy it was for him to get hold of them and once you're holding that sort of thing, you're sort of in a position of power should you have nefarious thoughts.

really? i'm surprised i spent the last 6 months down that way this year and i distinctly don't remember "filthy middle eastern immigrants" causing trouble, or even being there in any notable volume.
You obviously didn't go down by the Hauptbahnhof much then, which is very near Oktoberfest. I lived in Munich for 5 years in the early 2000s and spent some time back there this year and I couldn't believe the difference. Not once when I lived there did I ever feel like I was in a 'dodgy' area (not even Pasing). There is a totally different vibe now. Most of my old friends and ex colleagues shared the same opinion.

What about 9/11 fella??

Ohhh you are one of those nutty conspiracy theorists right??

LOL
I see controlled demolition, no plain debriefs next to pentagon I will draw my own conclusion. But this is no place to to talk about something that happened so long ago, so I'm not going to bite. I simply expressed my opinion if you cant deal with tat ill suggest therapy.

Got you. Sounds very dodgy.

the only vibe i get from that area is it having a feeling of a red light district, certainly didn't feel particularly unsafe. but then that's coming from northern ireland so i suppose that's maybe swaying my opinion.

tbf when i came back for a week at easter flying out someone had called in the bomb squad to search someone's luggage but apart from that it's fine.

Who pays for their medical bills? Presumably their insurance covers it or they have to pay themselves?
Unfortunately it's the victims, and even if they have insurance that covers it they'll often be heavily out of pocket on top of the pain and any long term physical or psychological effects from being shot.

Guns don't kill people ! people kill people, and this stinks of some kind of setup, all that situation is fishy af !

Out of interest, if the Vegas shooter was armed with only a water pistol would the death toll be less or greater than 58?

You are not alone in your thinking. Most of America is of the same opinion. It's not the guns but the people.

Unfortunately they can't join two truths to form the correct opinion which will ultimately lead to the solution.

AFAIK for something like this where you're brought in in the back of an ambulance (re: the initial treatment at least) it doesn't necessarily get paid for if uninsured - thus lots of uninsured Americans only ever see a doctor if they let something get so bad to the point where they end up going to their local ER.

If you are insured then the insurance company will of course pay for all the various expenses incurred but often hospitals over there do need to take a financial hit when their ER department is concerned.
