Google Glass

On a similar smart-glasses kind of note - Snapchat revealed some the other day didn't they? With a flashing light for people around to see that something was being recorded

Google Glass 2.0 is back as the Enterprise Edition.

Officially released today, it is in full production mode for the enterprise and health care sector. No word on a future consumer device from Google, only inferences that the hope is still alive.

Big productive tool in the enterprise setting, according to this Wired article today. My impression from this article is that Google hopes that sufficient mass in the enterprise will spill over to the daily lives of these workers.

Can anyone remember in 2012 the awe-inspiring response that the press and public gave to the first demo of Google Glass? Following years in the wilderness and a rebirth at the Enterprise level, it appears that a second-gen consumer version is being developed. It will likely have a flashing light to warn third parties of a picture being taken, come at a lower price point than the original Glass and of note, show consumers what it can do that a smartphone cannot.

I absolutely hate the concept of Google glass. Everything being recorded at a personal level.

Anyone else notice today the image for the Magic One Creator One edition smart glasses due to be released in 2018?

Investors in Magic One include Google, Qualcomm and Alibaba.
