FIFA 18

I packed alderweilder and sold him for 34k to help build a squad. Rest have been duff packs and I spent 21 quid in packs so far:(

Replaced him with Mustafi for 4k. Most expensive buys were ferdinandinho and barkley.

My app won't let me do transfers either.
 
Squad battles still leaves me baffled, always play against legendary, lost 4-2 to a 79 rated 60 odd chem team, then hammered an 86 rated 100 chem team with Ronaldo, Suarez, Messi and Bale 7-0.
 
Gameplay changes from 1st patch:

Tuned goalkeeper reactions in certain situations

Tuned down difficulty in amateur and beginner

Reduced shot accuracy and increased gk reactions in certain in game situations
 
Managed to build this team at the moment with 130k balance

Used Lacazette and Ozil loans via EASFC and they were both really, really good for me. Helped me qualify for Weekend League via DKT. Lacazette got 12 in 8, Ozil with 4 in 5 and 4 assists. Not willing to shell out for the former so Lanzini on a budget will suffice. Striker headache now.
 
Few questions:

Does everyone have bronze players on the bench to lower the team star rating?

Can you increase chemistry even if players don't have anything in common?

I had a barely 4 star team of lower quality PL players but with some similar level ones on the bench, and came up against a guy with Kane - Sane - Sterling up front, which was a bit of a pain. The rest of his team was of a similar quality... not very fair!

Pretty sure Mustafi, Haha, Denilo and either the dodgy city keeper or Karnezis would improve your team die under 10k.
 
I don't like CBs with less than 70 pace, so Mustafi's a no no. As for RB I'm probably going to go for Clyne, GK Pickford's actually been decent so far, saved far more than he had any right to although most keepers seem to have clanger moments, I got proper lucky during DKT with balls that would fall to my player for a tap in.

Purchased Griezman to partner IF Bak changed formation again felt sick that I'd payed 300k for a striker but hopefully get what I've paid for. I used his loan card and he was great. Also picked Casemiro up as a CDM. Grind for more coins to keep improving now.
 
Plot twist new patch shows indicator on the player the opposition is controlling. Not sure how I feel about that, makes it easier to attack and harder to defend.
 
I have no real intent to play online so just improving against computer having been rubbish. I'm decent enough at defending now and my attacking is a lot more slick. Really got to grips with Crossing now as well, just hitting the squad battles to level up right now.
 
well finally got my club up and running with managers done etc and rocking these at moment. calcio will be getting upgraded more now.
