Mass Shooting in Las Vegas

To do nothing means there is no problem.
It means people getting gunned down randomly is the norm.

Think about that a minute; something like his happens and it is okay, just let it right? Wait, of course it is not okay? Then do something about it. If you do nothing about it then you accept mass shooting like this is part of life.

Not sure who is more crazy, the guy who shoots 300 people or the people who thinks this is normal.
 
People (mainly right leaning) like to throw Sadiq khans (misquote) about terrorism being part and parcel of living in a city around everyime there is a terror attack.

Guess if we apply their same logic, we just have to accept that Americans being randomly gunned down is part of normal life because of the 2nd amendment.

If they do, then they should not moan about it, suck it up when your love ones get gunned down senselessly…if not, then do something about it.

Which is totally pointless now considering governments have tanks, missiles, chemical and nuclear weapons!
 
Officials now confirming that the shooter used two 'Bump Stock' mods on a pair of semi-auto assault rifles! Combined with extended 100-shot magazines this allowed the coward to shot at a terrifying rate.

lol how is that thing even legal lol, seems like its only useful purpose is to fire at crowds

Last shooting at orlando nightclub we had all the numpties out in force going yeah but AR 15 isn't fully automatic! so your ciritiques about freely available assault rifles is incorrect! they at least outlaw full auto!!!!

A 99 dollar part deliver via mail and put on fairly easily and then it's fully auto....lol.... just lol.

In a situation like the US the sheer numbers would significantly balance against the hardware advantage of the government.

Always thought it ridiculous mechanical hardware to automate semi-automatic weapons wasn't illegal it is just playing clever with the wording of the law and clearly breaches the intent.

You seem to think oppress means to kill en masse, it doesn't. There isn't much a civilian can ever do if the army (who are incidentally also American citizens so they'll never in a million years do it) start dropping nuclear bombs on their own cities (also, family and friends). If on the other hand they want to start shooting people at polling stations or lawful protesters then fire arms will definitely provide a deterrent.

you're assuming the majority would be against the govenrment.

I think if say the government decided to put all Muslims in internment camps the majority of these gun owners would not be out stopping them with thier guns..
